The Downtown Business Association announces the entertainment at the first annual “Downtowners Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest, it’s a mouthful.” Local, regional and national bands perform from Noon to 11:00pm each day on the Ribfest stage. The Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest runs 11:00am – 11:00pm, June 19-21, 2008 in Lot D of the Bismarck Civic Center. Entertainers perform as follows: Thursday June 19 Noon: Falcon Brothers 2-3:30: Taterz 4-5:30: Gypsy Foot 6-7:30: Broken Bricks 8-11: The Joe Moss Band (Chicago, IL) Friday June 20 Noon: Dixieland Jazz 2-3:30: The Luke Graner Band 4-5:30: Ben Suchy 6-7:30: The Torrence Trio 8-11: Betty Does (Fargo, ND) Saturday June 21 Noon: McMahon & McMahon 2-3:30: Jamaican Meh Crazy 4-5:30: Fat Dad 6-7:30: Heavy Water Radio 8 -11: 24 Seven (Fargo, ND) Four national bbq vendor haul into the Bismarck-Mandan area and cook up platefuls of ribs and other tasty B-B-Q including brisket, pulled pork and beef, coleslaw and all the fixin’s. Ribfest is a family affair with activities for kids from age 2 to 102! Besides fabulous music entertainment, Fun on the Run will provide inflatable games, various exciting hands on activities are planned for children and adults, contests are scheduled, and area vendors will be displaying their products.
